SonJo (Jovi Sonetto) hat italienische Wurzeln, ist in der Schweiz geboren und hatte seine ersten Berührungen mit der Musik mit 7 Jahren, als er an Gesangswettbewerben mitmachte und zweimal den zweiten Platz erreichte, sowie mit seiner Schwester 12 Jahre lang lateinamerikanisch tanzte (Regional- und Schweizermeisterschaft). Nebenbei war er noch Schlagzeuger in einer Metalcore-Band (Dying Proud) und somit war sein Rhythmus Rucksack bestens gewappnet um in der elektronischen Musik und als Deejay Fuss zu fassen. Zuerst spielte SonJo an Geburtstagen und Privatparties, im Jahr 2010/2011 dann der erste Club Auftritt im damaligen Club OH (Altstetten ZH). 
Später im Jahr 2022 war es wieder an der Zeit das Deejaying und die elektronische Musik (vor allem Melodic Techno mit Afro und Tech House Elemente) tiefer und erst recht mit Vollgas anzutreten. Nun ist SonJo offizieller selbständiger DJ, welcher auch eigene Musikproduktionen (Spotify Link) mit seinem Label "Sonetto SonJo Music" und andere produziert hat. SonJo (Jovi Sonetto) has italian woods, was born in Switzerland and had his first contact with music at the age of 7, when he took part in singing competitions and earned twice the second place, as well as dancing latin american with his sister for 12 years (regional and swiss championship). He was also a drummer in a metalcore band (Dying Proud) and so his rhythm feeling was well equipped to gain in electronic music and as a deejay. At first SonJo played at birthdays and private parties, then in 2010/2011 he played his first club gig at the Club OH (Altstetten ZH).  
In 2022, it was time to go deeper into deejaying and electronic music (especially melodic techno with afro and tech house elements) and even more so to go full throttle. Now SonJo is an official independent DJ, who has also produced his own music (Spotify Link) with his label "Sonetto SonJo Music" and others.
