Jovi ist am 21. Juni 1987 in Baden geboren und hatte seine ersten Berührungen mit der Musik mit 7 Jahren, als er an Gesangswettbewerben mitmachte und zweimal den zweiten Platz erreichte, sowie mit seiner Schwester 12 Jahre lang lateinamerikanisch tanzte (Regional- und Schweizermeisterschaft). Nebenbei war er noch Schlagzeuger in einer Metalcore-Band (Dying Proud) und somit war sein Rhythmus Rucksack bestens gewappnet um in der elektronischen Musik und als Deejay Fuss zu fassen. Zuerst spielte SonJo an Geburtstagen und Privatparties, im Jahr 2010/2011 dann der erste Club Auftritt im damaligen Club OH (Altstetten ZH). Kurz danach wuchs seine Familie und ist mittlerweile stolzer Vater von drei wunderbaren Kindern und seit mehr als 12 Jahren mit seiner Frau, Michelle, zusammen glücklich verheiratet. Im Jahr 2022 war es wieder an der Zeit das Deejaying und die elektronische Musik (vor allem Melodic Techno, Progressive- und Tech-House) tiefer und erst recht mit Vollgas anzutreten. Nun ist SonJo offizieller selbständiger DJ, welcher auch eigene Musikproduktionen (Spotify Link) mit seinem Label "Sonetto SonJo Music" und andere produziert hat. Jovi was born on June 21, 1987 in Baden and had his first contact with music at the age of 7, when he took part in a singing competition and twice won second place, and danced Latin American with his sister for 12 years (regional and Swiss championships). He was also a drummer in a metalcore band (Dying Proud) and his rhythm backpack was well prepared to gain a foothold in electronic music and as a deejay. At first SonJo played at birthdays and private parties, then in 2010/2011 the first club appearance in the former Club OH (Altstetten ZH). Shortly thereafter his family grew and he is now the proud father of three wonderful children and has been happily married to his wife, Michelle, for more than 12 years. In 2022 it was time again for deejaying and electronic music (especially melodic techno, progressive and tech house) to go deeper and full throttle. Now SonJo is an official independent DJ who has also produced his own music productions (Spotify Link) with his label "Sonetto SonJo Music" and others.
